Welcome to the Final Meeting of the 2009 HOPE Exchange Programme, held in the city of Lisbon. It is the second time that Portugal organizes such prestigious event, the first one being organized in the city of Coimbra in the year of 1996.

However, the Final Meeting of this year has a different structure than the similar past events. In a way, it hopes to be a model for future meetings thus adapting the HOPE Evaluation Conference to the demands of modern times without challenging its unique purpose of sharing knowledge and experiences from across Europe.
